When Mark and Nate consider fostering two young brothers, the social worker, Rachel, leaves them with a stack of paperwork to help them decide. Upon first glance, Nate can’t help but laugh at the instructions on how to care for the children: be cautious with vegetables, avoid the sun, stay away from church. Mark, on the other hand, thinks all signs point toward something more sinister. The boys must be vampires.
When Rachel returns, she has a supernatural surprise in tow. Armed with a Ouija board and backed by a court order, Rachel must help Mark and Nate realize that they already have all the instincts they need to be great parents to two very special children.

She soon returns home with a new RV, a new lesbian love interest, new friends, and a new lust for life, but her children are convinced she’s lost her mind. In the end, what is best for Donna, and who gets to decide when living life is worth the risk?
